Within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we inform you about the processing of your personal data as the Petopic platform.

Petopic operates worldwide with contact points including Istanbul and Glasgow. This disclosure relates to data processing in connection with services offered through our platform.

1. Data Controller

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Provision and management of platform services
• Creation and management of user account
• Communication and customer services
• Security and fraud prevention
• Fulfillment of legal obligations
• Ensuring platform security
• Improving service quality

3. Processed Personal Data Categories

The following personal data categories are processed:

• Identity Information: Name, surname, email address, phone number
• Account Information: Username, password, profile information
• Contact Information: Address, phone, email
• Transaction Security: IP address, browser information, device information
• Platform Usage Data: Login dates, usage statistics
• Cookies and similar technologies: Session, security, analytics and (depending on your preferences) advertising identifiers

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data is not shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary to provide the service. Minimum necessary information may be shared with other users for platform communication.

For platform analytics, security and advertising activities, data may be transferred to service providers such as Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Google’s approved advertising technology partners, in accordance with the conditions set out in KVKK and, where required, your explicit consent or legitimate processing grounds. In Europe and relevant regions, your preferences for personalized ads may be collected through a Google-certified CMP (InMobi Choice / IAB TCF compatible). For details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data may be obtained through registration and contact forms on the platform, account settings, cookies / similar technologies, CMP preference notices and technical data collected automatically.

6. Cookies, analytics and ad preferences

Essential cookies are required to provide the service. Analytics and advertising cookies are used, where possible, based on consent or applicable law. You can update your preferences via the CMP banner / Privacy Settings; you can also limit cookies in your browser settings. Ad display helps sustain Petopic’s free services.

7. Your Rights Under KVKK

You have the following rights under Article 11 of KVKK:

• Learning whether your personal data is processed
• Requesting information if your personal data has been processed
• Learning the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose
• Knowing the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
• Requesting correction if your personal data is processed incompletely or incorrectly
• Requesting deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of KVKK
• Requesting notification of the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (e) and (f) to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred
• Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems
• Requesting compensation for the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data
