This privacy policy explains how your personal data is collected, used and protected on the Petopic platform. It has been prepared within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Petopic is a global pet platform serving users in many countries, offering listings, pet-friendly venues, services, guides and community features. Your personal data is processed in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

Your personal data is not shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary to provide the service. Minimum necessary information may be shared with other users for platform communication.

In addition, for site analytics, security and (with your consent or where permitted by applicable law) advertising, data may be processed or transferred with providers such as Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Google’s approved advertising technology partners. These partners are subject to their own privacy policies. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) is used for personalized ads as required by Google.

Technical and administrative measures are taken for the security of your personal data. Your data is stored encrypted and access is provided in a controlled manner.

• Requesting deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of KVKK

7. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

Petopic uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, keep it secure, measure performance and sustain free services. Essential (strictly necessary) cookies are required for session, security and your preferences. Analytics and advertising cookies are used where possible based on your consent or applicable law.

7.1. Google Analytics

7.2. Google AdSense and ads

To help keep Petopic free, some pages (for example content and listing detail pages) may show Google AdSense ads. 7.3. Consent management (CMP) and your preferences

Especially in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and relevant U.S. states, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) (InMobi Choice / IAB TCF compatible) may be used so you can manage cookie and advertising preferences. Via the banner or notice you can agree, disagree or manage options. You can later update your choices via the Privacy Settings link on the page. In certain U.S. states, “Do Not Sell or Share” options may also be available.

7.4. Browser controls

You can delete, block or limit cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may break session or security features. Ad blockers may hide some ads; in that case the site experience and sustainability of free services may be affected.

8. International visitors

Petopic is a multilingual, global platform. Your data may be processed in Türkiye and/or in countries where our service providers operate. For visitors from Europe and other regions, we aim to apply the notices and consent mechanisms required under GDPR and similar rules, U.S. state laws and, in Türkiye, KVKK.
