Looking for a calm male British Shorthair cat for adoption.

We are looking for a new home for our male British Shorthair cat, who has been living with us for about two years. He has the typical British Shorthair character; he's not overly hyperactive. He usually sits by the window watching the outside or sleeps in the corner of the sofa. When guests arrive, he doesn't run away immediately, but he acts a little distant before coming and sitting next to them. He's not picky about food, mainly dry food, and has a good water intake. He's litter-trained and has never used the toilet anywhere in the house. The reason for rehoming him is that he has developed a serious allergy problem in our new home, and we need to rehome him on the advice of a doctor. We want to give him to someone who truly understands cat temperament, not someone who treats him like a toy.
