Curious Chinese hamster seeks patient family

This Chinese hamster is a small but very interesting animal to watch. I bought him when he was very young, and he's lived in a quiet terrarium on my desk ever since. He has a rather cautious personality: he observes everything from a distance before approaching. Over time, he's gotten used to my presence, and when he hears the food box open, he quickly comes out to see if there's anything new to eat. He especially likes seeds and small pieces of carrot. He's a very clean animal and usually uses the same corner of the cage for his needs. I'm planning to move to another city in a few months, and the trip would be too stressful for him, so I'd prefer to find him a stable home before then.
