Intelligent African grey parrots enjoy living with people.

This grey parrot, named Leo, has lived with us for over four years. When it first arrived, it was very quiet, just standing in its cage observing its surroundings. Later, it gradually started mimicking household sounds, such as the doorbell and phone notifications. Sometimes, if it hears us speaking, it will try to imitate a few simple words. During the day, if I'm working at the computer, it will perch on the back of its chair and watch intently, as if observing carefully. Grey parrots are actually very intelligent and need a lot of interaction. The problem is that recently my work hours have become very long, often taking all day away from home. This isn't good for a bird that needs interaction. Therefore, we hope to find someone who truly loves birds so that it can continue to interact with people.
