Sociable African Grey parrot raised in a family environment

I prefer to be honest in this ad because this parrot has been part of our home for a long time. His name is Paco, and he's lived with us for almost five years. At first, he was very quiet and observant, but little by little, he started imitating some household sounds. Now he reproduces the sound of the telephone very well, and even the little beep of the oven. He likes to be near people and often spends time outside his cage on the back of a chair. Sometimes he just watches people working as if he's trying to understand what's going on. African Grey parrots are very intelligent and need daily interaction. Unfortunately, our work now requires us to be away from home for long periods, and he's left alone too often. That's the only reason we're looking for a new family who will have more time to talk to him and interact with him.
