We are looking for an experienced owner for a calm but reserved Akita Inu.
Description
This ad isn't for everyone, let me say that upfront. Akita Inus have independent personalities and aren't dogs that become friendly with everyone. They choose their owners and demand respect for their space.
We love this breed's character, but we also acknowledge that it requires experience. If mismanaged, they can become withdrawn. With the right approach, however, they become incredibly loyal companions.
We are selective about adoption. We want to go with someone who has prior experience caring for dogs, knows how to set boundaries, and understands this breed's character.
