Poppy has spent eight years with my mother and has always been a wonderfully steady companion. Unfortunately, my mother has recently moved into residential care and pets are not permitted there. Poppy is happiest with a simple routine: a relaxed morning walk, breakfast and then a long nap somewhere near her person. She is not interested in chaotic play and would suit someone looking for a calm, affectionate older dog. She still enjoys her walks but does not need hours of exercise.
