African Grey parrot that grew up around daily family life

This African Grey has lived in our apartment long enough to become part of the rhythm of the house rather than just a pet in a cage. It knows when someone is making tea, it notices when the phone rings, and it reacts differently to familiar voices compared to strangers. In the mornings it usually stays quiet and just watches everything from its perch, but later in the day it becomes more interactive and sometimes tries to repeat short sounds it has picked up over time. It is not one of those birds that constantly screams for attention, but it absolutely prefers not to feel isolated. If someone is in the room, it relaxes more. We let it out for short supervised periods and it usually explores carefully instead of flying around in panic. Food has been consistent, mostly pellets, fruit, and a little bit of walnut now and then. The only reason we are looking for a new home is that my father, who spent the most time with it, moved out after retirement plans changed, and the bird has clearly become less comfortable with the house being empty for long stretches.
