Highly intelligent African Grey Parrot looking for a patient new home

This African Grey parrot has been living in a home environment for several years and has grown very accustomed to daily human interaction and conversation. It spends much of its time observing people and listening carefully to voices around the house, occasionally attempting to mimic sounds or short words it hears frequently. The bird enjoys being near people rather than staying isolated and tends to become attached to the person who spends the most time interacting with it. It is used to short supervised periods outside its cage where it explores calmly and plays with simple parrot toys. Its diet currently includes balanced parrot pellets, fresh fruit, and occasional nuts, and it has been checked by a veterinarian regularly with no known health issues. We are hoping to find someone who understands that parrots are emotionally aware animals that require patience, attention, and long-term commitment.
