Calm British Shorthair cat used to living with humans

I'm writing this simply because I'm not someone who often writes ads. This British Shorthair has lived with us for almost three years, and over time he has become a very discreet but constant presence in the house. He's not one of those cats who runs around everywhere or knocks things over. Most of the time, he prefers to calmly observe what's going on around him. When someone is working on the computer, he often comes and settles down nearby, as if he wants to join in. In the evening, he likes to stay in the living room near the sofa and sleep while the house becomes quieter. The reason we're looking for a new family isn't related to a behavioral problem, but simply to our lifestyle, which has changed recently. We're spending much less time at home, and we feel that such a sociable animal deserves an environment with more human presence.
