Green-colored birds, native to South America, there are two species of amazon parrot, the first with a blue front, larger (37 cm) and the second with a white front, smaller (26 cm). The blue-fronted amazon has a pronounced yellow color on the face and head as well as a blue mask. There is no distinction between male and female and a DNA test is necessary to determine the sex.
