Missing Yellow Tang (Zebrasoma flavescens) – accidentally released during tank maintenance

Our Yellow Tang (Zebrasoma flavescens) went missing during a recent aquarium maintenance procedure. While cleaning and transferring water, there was an unexpected equipment issue and the fish was accidentally lost. We are trying to trace where it may have ended up. This fish has been in our marine aquarium for over a year. It is bright yellow, medium-sized, and very active. It is accustomed to a controlled saltwater environment and would not survive long outside appropriate marine conditions.
